§ 105-214. Tree removal compliance inspection.

Following the issuance of a building permit, the administrator shall from time to time inspect the lot for the purpose of certifying compliance with the requirements of the tree removal. In the event of noncompliance, the code compliance officer or city arborist may revoke or modify the city permit. No certificate of occupancy shall be issued until actual compliance is obtained. After development is complete, the code compliance officer or city arborist shall continue to make random inspections to ensure that required trees are maintained. Replacement shall be required or bond/letter of credit posted within 30 days of notice by the administrator should any of these trees die, be removed or be destroyed within two years after completion of development.
