§ 42-6. Alcoholic beverages.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to possess and/or consume any alcoholic beverage, or be under the influence of alcohol, malt and/or vinous beverage, within or upon the lakes, parks, picnic areas, playgrounds and swimming pool of the city; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to nor shall it prohibit the possession, use or consumption of alcoholic, malt and/or vinous beverages within the premises of the city's civic center/senior citizen's building by persons or groups who have applied for and been granted a special use permit for such premises through and by the city clerk's office.
