§ 8.10. Restrictions on actions for damages against the city.

No action shall be maintained against the city for damages unless a written statement by the claimant or by his agent, attorney, or representative, setting forth the basis for his claim, shall have been filed in compliance with the provisions for ante litem notice for municipalities set forth in O.C.G.A. § 36-33-5 and subsequently amended.
